The lower Verde Valley includes the tributaries of Beaver Creek and West Clear Creek. It is a diverse mix of public and private lands with Camp Verde as its center. Recreation opportunities abound from hiking at Montezuma’s Castle National Monument or picnicking in Camp Verde’s Rezzonico Park or launching your kayak from a Forest Service access point.
