Watershed report cards are powerful tools to describe ecosystem status, increase public awareness, and inform and influence decision makers to improve the health of a watershed. This is the second Verde River Watershed Report Card. Several indicators were updated with new methods, and a new indicator, Depth to Groundwater, was added. Overall, the Verde River Watershed earned a score of 58% (C+); a one percent improvement over 2020.
